Meet Rocklin Optometrist, Dr. Geraldine R. Brooks
Dr. Brooks externed at the Baltimore Omni Eye Services in Maryland, the Veterans Administration Hospitals in Oakland and Livermore, California and at the Mare Island Naval Base in Vallejo, California. Dr. Brooks also conducted vision screenings for the unified school districts of Livermore, Pleasanton, San Lorenzo and Fremont, California.
Upon graduation, Dr. Brooks joined the research team at VisX in Santa Clara, CA. There she participated in patient-data analysis, which led to the FDA approval of the VisX excimer lasers for refractive and therapeutic ocular applications in LASIK eye surgery.
In 1994, Dr. Brooks took the national and state examinations in California and became a Board Certified Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agent Licensed Optometrist. Dr. Brooks has been in practice for a total of 27 years. She practiced in the Almaden Valley of San Jose, then joined an optometric group in Austin, Texas which specializes in fitting contact lenses. In 2006, she returned to California and joined Eye Care Medical Group in Santa Cruz, which specializes in cataract surgery and glaucoma management. In 2012, Dr. Brooks established Precision Optometry in Rocklin.

NazandraHi my name is Nazandra, I am the Office Manager at Precision Optometry, I've had the pleasure of working beside Dr. Brooks for 3 years. I enjoy helping patients find the perfect eyewear for their eye care needs. I graduated from National Career Education (NCE) with a diploma for Optical/Ophthalmic technician. I am semi-fluent in Spanish and am willing to help during a frame selection. During my free time, I enjoy reading and going to the beach to relax. If there is a specific style of frame or brand you are looking for, please ask me, I will always help you with a friendly smile.

TeresaHi, my name is Teresa, I am the Optical Manager at Precision Optometry. I have been in the optical industry for 10 years and have been serving the Rocklin area for 6 years. I am passionate about quality eyewear and lenses to provide the best vision possible for all patients. I graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a B.A. in Art and Minor in Spanish. I also received a diploma from National Career Education as an Optical/ Ophthalmic Technician and my ABO and NCLE licenses. In my spare time I enjoy painting, drawing or visiting an art museum. ChristinaHello, my name is Christina, I am the Optical Technician at Precision Optometry. I began growing my passion for healthcare 15 years ago working in Alzheimer's and Dementia Care. I graduated from MTI College in Sacramento where I specialized in medical assisting and phlebotomy. Upon graduation I completed internships and took the NCCT test for Nationally Certified Medical Assistants, earning my MA certification. I also interned at Sutter Hospital Outpatient Lab and took the California state test earning my phlebotomy license. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, beer and wine tasting, and going on drives around Northern California. My desire is to help you with your eye needs, I look forwards to meeting you.

Once they have been approved I'll call to let you know your glasses are ready for pick up; call anytime for any repairs or adjustments, and I will be happy to help you! I attended Chabot College in the Bay Area studying social science and acting. I have worked various jobs that have helped me in the medical field today. It is rewarding to help patients see clearly with each pair of glasses I dispense. In my free time, I like to walk my Corgi, Boba, work on my Pontiac Trans am, lift weights and make electronic music.
